SmartyCard: an online learning area for kids 3rd – 6th grade. They get rewarded for playing the games and learning! Sweet! Rewards include: games, iTunes gift certificates, Webkinz, and more.
A trial account is available and then you can purchase a SmartyCard to extend the fun and learning.

Build a Robot: Lastly, here’s a fun blog entry that teaches you how to build a robot your kids will enjoy over and over again. But if you take this basic premise, you can build on this for other things as well. Love that sheet pans are magnetic!
