I strive to have, but don’t always achieve, excellent grammar when emailing and blogging. It’s seems to come more natural when writing a formal letter or ‘fluffing’ something of importance. It irks me (yes, sorry, it’s a pet peeve) when folks repeatedly use incorrect grammar. Typically, I can overlook it and even utilize it when necessary, but it isn’t the ‘norm’ for me.
Punctuation has never been my forte and, as a result, I am more tolerant of comma soup or run-on sentences. 🙂Â
Anyway, I heard about this really interesting book and can’t wait to take a look at it — maybe even pick up a copy. Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing looks like a very useful book. The reviews have been encouraging as well.
